In order to efficiently test run FaceMOUSE,
you should request a consultation with an AIDA expert, especially
if the disabled person cannot control the mouse correctly or if the
person's assistant does not have any computer skills. You
can ask for a free AIDA consultation at the Modena office or contact
an AIDA partner.
You may try FaceMOUSE without the help of an A.I.D.A. expert: this
can be a good solution if the disabled person can move the tip of
the mouse well and there is another person to help install and calibrate
FaceMOUSE, which requires only basic IT knowledge. In this case, it
should be easy to try the software, perhaps with the help of AIDA
telephone and mail assistance.
In particular, you may request the rental
service to try FaceMOUSE for 30 days (without
repayment) or you may give a part payment (24%) to try FaceMOUSE
for 45 days ( at the end of trial period you may
pay off or not).
To provide more information about FaceMOUSE, AIDA offers
a video which shows how it works: the different files that make up
the video in divx format can be downloaded from here;
there are zip files, generally about 260 MB in size, and some are
password protected. In addition, you can request a video by regular
mail: in this case, the films are grouped together on a DVD (better
quality compared to the DivX available on the internet).
You are also advised to send a video to AIDA showing the disabled
person’s motor skills so that the AIDA staff can perform a preliminary
exam and supply their first opinion about the possibility of the customer
using FaceMOUSE. The video can be sent by email or regular mail (on
VHS, CD or DVD support).
In order to know the FaceMOUSE price we invite
you to contact us.
AIDA is looking for cooperation to integrate the “FaceMOUSE”
technology in other systems for disabled persons and most important
is trying to promote and commercialize “FaceMOUSE” abroad.
Finally, we strongly urge you to contact us for additional
information, to ask further questions or to simply express your opinion,
because this is the only way that A.I.D.A. can attempt to restore
part of their lost independence to the disabled and the elderly.
