FaceMOUSE doesn’t require the user to
utilize external switches or sensors to apply on the body, and analyzes the
images only through a common webcam.
Obviously, the use of FaceMOUSE requires the user
to be able to observe computer screen.
FaceMOUSE doesn’t require particular computer
knowledge and is easily usable by everybody.
A.I.D.A. gives technical product support and, if
required, the PC to use FaceMOUSE with and organizes computer tutorials and
lessons.
> Technical requirements
- Computer with a processor not less than 1GHz (it’s recommended 1.4 GHz or
higher)
- 256 Mb of RAM memory (or higher)
- Webcam of good quality with CCD sensor and framerate of 30 frame/sec
(it’s recommended Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000, webcam included in FaceMOUSE
package)
- An USB port to connect the webcam to computer
- Hardware key included in FaceMOUSE package (anti-piracy protection); this key
can be chosen parallel or USB type.
- Then it’s need a parallel port or USB port to connect at the computer the
chosen key. Therefore if you choose the USB key, your computer need of 2 USB
port at least (one to connect the webcam and another port to connect the
hardware key)
- Operative System: Windows 2000 / XP (Service Pack 2)
- Colored markers to piloting the mouse cursor moving a part of body different
by head. The markers are included in FaceMOUSE package only if demanded by
customer or if AIDA thinks that the user will use them.
NOTE: If the computer has USB 1.1 standard we recommend you to connect at
computer webcam and hardware key only for a best performance of FaceMOUSE.
